An aunt Posing for selfie in Bhaktpaur

She posed into my selfie voluntarily while I was fixing my mobile for a selfie with my kids in my locality. She posed since she amazed that she could view herself into mobile, expressed in local language – Newari. She was unknown of front camera of mobile. She is one of Aunties of my locality.

Her one sentence put me into thoughtful situation what actually I am doing for community, especially for my local community. Nothing was my answer.

Why would you miss Ghandruk Trail?

searching the answer - small
Yet researching for an answer. #Lost in #Transition. (On a way to Ghandruk)

GHANDRUK, 26 March 2017 – This second trail of Ghandruk with family and kids opens new thought of enjoyment and happiness in my family. The new thought is about how to feel you in nature – Himalayan, village and new way of expression of locals. We started our trail from Hari Chowk of Pokhara by bus to Nayapul of core trail to Ghandruk.

This trail to Ghandruk with kids was in my mind when I was in Ghandruk on foot of 7-8 hours for a research with my colleague in December 2011. It came to reality in March 2017. We had zip vehicle for 3.5 hours from Hari Chowk to the place before 1 hour on foot of main Ghandruk area.  We started our journey with full energy.

A Trail through Lamma Island

rmb-on-beachLAMMA ISLAND, HONG KONG, 21st Feb 2017 – Splendid journey to Hong Kong was nailed one year before in office’s picnic in Gokarna Resort. I was reluctant to make this trip due to prejudice about Hong Kong and its people in such a way that I was on my bed at home till 8:30pm whereas I had to report airport at 9:00pm. Airport is 15 minutes walking distance from my home. I was feeling that this trip was obligation rather than my own interest. But, after this trip I knew it was a call of dragon warriors. I would regret if I would not make this trip. It is meaning trip because a quest of trip made me clear how much I was wrong to Hong Kong and its people. I am thankful to those all local people and their consideration with graceful behavior. I found everyone is awesome and extensively natural with eternal feelings and the places, I have been like Lamma Island, were successful to mesmerize my trip for a long till the end. Decoding my dream of Dragon Warriors – Digital Technology in Mediation

Rajendra Man Banepali’s gesture with a cup of coffee after problem solving with Air Hostesses – (Left) Blue Cheung, Hana Lau and Sally Lui

Hong Kong, 22nd February 2017 – Two dragon warriors were into my dream on Sunday, 7th August 2016 night (a day of Naag Panchami). I realized that my footsteps, while stepping out from airbus at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu at mid night of Wednesday, 22nd February 2017, was decoding my dream of 200 days ago. My overall journey in Hong Kong was meaningful and I am thankful to team members for their consideration and cooperation for my trip. I would regret if I had not made this trip indeed because I would not be able to decode my dream of dragon warriors.

Technology for nation building – smooth transition of Hong Kong Immigration redirecting my thoughts

Meeting with a kid next to my seat with his parent on board way to Hong Kong.

17th Feb 2017, KOWLOON, HONG KONG – Three hours before to airport at my home too, I was not really on the way of my trip to Hong Kong. All of the sudden, I found myself on the way of reporting to airport for travel. I set off for report on foot since airport is ten minutes far from my home on foot. There are a lot of people in queue checking-in and I joined the queue. Most of Nepali people are for connecting flight and few are to Hong Kong.

Three stories replied me “Why do I need mobility for life” – America Diary October 2011

Wall Street in tension in October 2011 and Rajendra Man Banepali observing Wall Street, New York, USA.

Kathmandu, 9th November 2016 — United Nations (UN) exam centre was in court square of New York which was major destination of my mission to United States of America (USA) in 12th October 2011 including my official assignment to the UN in Manhattan, New York. I met an American man, 28, who was in same exam hall, while returning from exam centre and talked about few things with him about his job and education. His home was in Brooklyn, which was tomorrow’s destination of my trip. He was an American and working in Kenya.  He was also in New York to take examination of the UN. But, he was from outside of the UN. I asked him why he was working in Kenya rather than working in his home town or in any part of USA since everyone thinks that USA is land of opportunities. “There is nothing here for me, I could not earn money here and move to Kenya to earn money”, he expressed with sadness. Most of people not only in Nepal think USA is a land of opportunities and they want to go USA to earn money and comfort life style. The answer stressed new way of thought of USA in front my way. And I was thinking of his mobility from USA to Kenya.

House of Tharu people in Sauraha, Chitwan.

SHAURAH, 16 December 27, 2011 — I and my team moved to Shaurah after busy schedule of presentation. Our driver dropped us at riverside and we enjoyed the sun set taking dozen of snaps attaching ourselves into the natures while we got to stick with two beautiful. The moment with new friends added values and coverage into the life. The new feelings and sharing of experience made us close to make more effective plan ahead. We decided to stay at Shaurah for a night and search for a lodge. We got it. A manager of lodge suggested us to get relax attending a cultural dance of Tharu people at downtown hall.
