People in Yoshingkhel, Bhaktapur for Biska jatra.

Sunday, 14 April 2019 – Commonly known as Biska Jatra is an annual event in Bhaktapur, Dhapasi Thimi and Tokha and other places in Nepal. The festival is celebrated at the start of the new year on the Bikram Sambat calendar, however, the festival itself is not related to Bikram Sambat.

Legend has it that this celebration is the “festival after the death of the serpent”. Various areas of Bhaktapur city celebrate this festival according to their own rituals. The most eventful places are Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Thimi Balkumari. A chariot carrying a statue of the God Bhairava is pulled by hundreds of people to the Khalla Tole. Approximately a month earlier, the chariot is assembled near the Nyatapola temple (five stair temple).

Drunk woman lying on the roadside.

KATHMANDU – Saturday late evening, 1st September 2018, was raining and cool breeze was touching my face, feeling my chest and hitting legs. I was in shorts returning home on bike. I was in speed since I didn’t want to get wet. Cough and cold already caught me last week. I reached home and “a drunk woman was lying on the road in our area and she was surrounded by a big crowd”, my wife and kids said while I was parking the bike. Such cases of drunken man or woman were not the case first time for me. I found a lot while roaming around Kathmandu and jogging around Pashupati area. I just went to observe.

HETAUDA, 26 August 2018 — When I used to teach in Hetauda in 2000/1, I saw very few vehicles and people around the market. Density of population has been increased, traffic jam is usual and rapid urbanization is taking place.

Position, Prospective and Visualization (Sketch of Rajendra to portrait fraction of thought)

A man, named Pasta, sitting under a dense tree in-front of a big wall, was waiting a postman who was about to deliver his result of selection for a position in a multinational company. Postman was beyond the wall followed by a fox and lion in distance. They were still far, an hour each.
